JONNI'S 2 YEAR OLD BIRTHDAY !

Attended my cousin's brother 2 year old birthday.....at a restaurant in Sri Kembangan..remember I mentioned that my aunty came back from the States?....yeah , his younger son, Jonni's birthday!...and this is actually the first time our whole family saw him .he was born in the States and it has been quite some time since my aunt last came back to Malaysia..so, he is so bubbly, chubby, jovial and cute......seriously...just feel like pinching him when we see him.....and he is not shy at all...he smiles at everyone...okie, let the pictures do the talking....

Days without parents around are just a little more fun than usual...lol, ok... besides being a driver at home!!!.....I have to get up early on weekends just to send my brother to school for football, bla bla....yeah, this is what happens when you know how to drive....who doesn't complain? lol....I'll just summarize roughly what I did...

FRIDAY

went to Mid Valley with Alex, Jon and Xander.....watched The Dark Knight ..the movie is quite interesting actually .....although I was a bit blur about the storyline...certain parts of the movie.. that I had to ask Jon and Alex who were both sitting beside me about the few characters....luckily they were patient enough to explain...oh before that had lunch at Kim Gary...

Came home after movie and went to Boon Boon Cafe for yam cha session...Wei Yang picked me up from my house as I was too lazy to drive...before that we went to pick Andrew as well before heading to the cafe...I tell u...the whole time in the car Andrew was asking me to help him look for Hello Kitty ear studs for his younger sis .....He even asked Wei Yang to look for the ear studs in Singapore for him....( Wei Yang left to Sing for holiday the next day)...Andrew , Andrew !

SATURDAY

planned to wake up late.....didn't happen bacause of my bro...but apart from that, it was quite a relaxing day....had the whole morning to myself, went for dance class......and dinner at Dominos with my bro..did a little shopping as well....sis went for some Interact function so didn't tag along...

SUNDAY

went for lunch with Zi Yang at Little Taiwan, Subang ....we were supposed to sit upstairs as the environment there is nice according to him....with cushion chairs and all but the first floor was closed..somehow had a good lunch.....we ordered 'claypot lo shi fun' .....it comes with chicken chop and it's quite tasty.....after lunch, had no where to go ......so we headed to Asia Cafe.....Zi Yang taught me how to play pool ....felt so dumb dumb...just for fun so yeah.....

Boohoo...actually , I have got nothing much to blog about ....things have been pretty much normal for the past few days ..it's all about work and at night , keep myself occupied with the newspaper, magazines....but by the time I read a few pages, *yawns*...what to do, always happen especially when I am in my room...the comfort of my bed especially...

Btw, these days there are lot's of chocolates in my house....my aunt just came back from the States and she bought back various types of chocolates for us...have to really control...yeah, but my favourite......

Has anyone been to the Bon Odori fair before?.....silly me , didn't quite know bout the event until Friday night when Zi Yang texted me and asked me to accompany him to the fair. He said there would be lot's of fun and seriously, it was oh so fun....At first when I asked him, he told me that it's a Japanese ghost festival...so I was like ...but it's actually some sort of Japanese carnival where people experience the Japanese culture with Japanese food, dance , e.t.c...it's an annual event though and this year is the 32nd Bon Odori 2008.

So, Zi Yang picked me at 5.30 p.m , after my dance class...and we headed to Shah Alam. We were chatting in the car on the way there when we came to this topic about the price of Japanese food...then both of us went like ' Oh uh', we actually forgotten to bring enough money cause we were rushing out from home.....how silly...then we had no choice but to go and look for the nearest ATM machine. Luckily, we found one nearby , upon reaching the stadium.lol.

Reached the place and the traffic was heavy, took quite some time to look for parking because there were so many people there , all heading towards the same direction. When we entered the place, the first thing that came into our mind, FOOD.....both of us were quite hungry that evening so yeah...but I tell you, the place was so crowded that we could hardly survey the type of food sold, so we just went to one of the stalls and bought the food there...

After eating, we walked around the stadium while waiting for the performances to start. While walking around , I came across many young kids dressed in kimono.....and they look so so cute, most of them are real Japanese , the others are locals who came dressing in the same outfits.

While watching performance, this little girl who sat next to me caught my attention, so I took a pic of her.

We joined the cultural dance where all of us surrounded the stage and made a huge circle, and followed the dance steps shown by the dancers on stage....everyone enjoyed this part of the fair the most.

Left the place at 9.30...had lot's of fun....experienced something new (just me,I know...haha) , and if I have the opportunity, i would want to go again next year, this time bringing more people there as well...okay, that's it for now, time for bed gain......

Finally!...Have been missing for the past week, lol....mainly bacause of my internet connection, yeah blame it all on that, seriously....they took so long to get my line fixed.... and yeah...it seems like I am the only one who is always facing this problem, for don't know what reason..haiz..kk. enough of crap, btw, I have been busy at my dad's office too. There are so much work to do last week..by the time I get home everyday, feel really tired..so there haven't been much time for me to even go online....

DATUM : KL 2008 was a really great one I would say, I haven't attended the conference before during the previous years and this is the first time...and it turned out to be quite beneficial especially for people in the field of architecture where u gain more understanding of the buildings and cities that are mushrooming all over the world ....The speakers, mostly international and successful architects are good , whatmore their work, amazing....' salute'. my favourite speaker for the conference, BJARKE INGELS from DENMARK. He gave his speech in such an interesting and hilarious way that the crowd was actually applauding most of the time for the one hour he was speaking. but I regretted not being able to take a picture with him.he left right after the conference..btw, ..he is good looking too...there were ten speakers overall for the two day conference..

went to the conference with Zi Yang, luckily I got him to accompany me.......if not this clumsy gal will loose her way again..haha, oh well not that bad actually.I do know the way to KL Convention Centre , it's just looking for parking and all, but it feels safer also when someone is with u especially when u need to drive...lol.I actually met quite a number of familiar faces at the conference , my friend Adam who went to U.K.....I was surprised when he called me from behind during tea break...but it's great to see him again, and Matt too...he was at the Archidex exhibition....

Catching up with friends just feel so good...reminisced about the past, talked bout the present and discussed bout the future?....hehe ..or perhaps just sitting there and listen, u will eventually get to know so much about how's everyone doing,..this afternoon, met up with friends for lunch at Madam Kwan's, Mid Valley..haven't seen them for quite some time and we have all grown up quite a lot I guess...but not many of us ...still lacking quite a number due to many reasons..looking forward to a huge reunion gathering...in the process of planning...

So, went to pick up Jon, Tai, and Xander.....I drove the Mercedes, they were like so surprised I came with that car,couldn't believe that I can actually drive a Mercedes...hehe...went to pick up Shin Li after that..waited for a few minutes in front of her house. then she came into the car and said,

'' You drove this car , I thought it was my neighbour."

She is just so sweet..I was about to leave when she gave me a present, (my belated birthday present) from Yew Ming and Wei Yang as well....Thank you so much guys, really like the present, so sweet of you all to have such a thought. Btw, since I am on this topic, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who celebrated my birthday with me, everyone who wished me...really appreciate everything ...and the cards and presents as well...and not to forget...Calvin and Way Wen for the lovely cards ..lol

Working on school projects last time tend to lead us to do something else..something silly I would say..lol.yeah, found this video Wei Yang sent to me some time ago....wanna share it with you guys especially with old friends. I don't think u all have seen it before. Zu Yee,Yew Ming and I were acting ,playing with toy gun and all ,and Yew Ming, the victim ....at Wei Yang's house....wonder where was Wei Yang?....he was the one who recorded this. He really had a good laugh.

Btw, it's just suppose to be a random thingy..I don't know bout you guys but u know,I just love home cooked food, mom's cooking especially...we tend to always eat outside..but what's more healthy than ur own mom's cooking right.Everyday when I come home regardless from college or from anywhere else,the first thing that i look forward to is the delicious meal prepared by my mom.Last Fri,she cooked my favourite dish, curry...Although I was having sore throat,but who cares ....muahaha....

I was sitting on the couch resting when I saw my school magazine on the coffee table,took it and started flipping through the pages. As I was looking at all the pictures, memories came back.Oh gosh, come to think about it, I really really miss school times.Times when I did all the silly things with my friends, being lame and childish at times, laughed at the slightiest things, did stuffs that girls would do together , gossiped..etc.but really, we had loadz of fun..Time flies, not knowing it, we are at the next stage of life now..and soon we will be further and further apart when most of us study overseas. Looking back at the old times, those were the best times ever.How I wish school days were slightly longer...yeah, emo but really...still remember a friend of mine Charles, the most hyper and talkative one in class,when he had got nothing better to do,he would go around disturbing others,and yeah us, the victims. Until now, he can still laugh whenever he mentioned how irritated we got when he disturbed us.hehe..but those are memories...I really miss all my friends, but I am certain that the friendship that we had, that's something that will surely last forever..

It has been quite some time since I spent my weekend like last week.so carefree without assignments,work,stress..and the best thing ,get to wake up late of course.I mean it's not like I cannot wake up late during weekends but once I get up,have to start thinking of all the unfinished assignments..it's really so difficult to resist from going out as well.dade dade.yeah so on Sat, woke up, actually read half the newspaper,usually I'll just flip through the first few pages.

After lunch, went for dance class with sis. this time around got to spend more time at the dance studio,learning hip hop dance.It's also exercising at the same time.hehe.but we are just beginners.My bestie,Zu Yee went with us too but she is a way better dancer.really pro.

Actually I really do think I enjoy dancing more and more these days. When I am dancing,I can really relax my mind and forget about all my worries, stress, and work for the moment,although it's just merely that one hour.It really helps especially when u sweat it all out. = )

The story of Dr Bruce Banner, who seeks a cure to his unique condition, who causes him to turn into a giant green monster under emotional stress.Yeah.the movie was quite ok..just that the storyline quite predictable..but overall I would say the actions scene are not bad. Went for dinner at a seafood restaurant in Kepong.Had crab as one of the dishes, our favourite and we just love it.there's never enough. my bro can finish everything , all by himself,especially when I eat so slow.but can't blame.have to enjoy good food = >

Ok.Right here at my dad's office.Just drop by before I start doing work.early in the morning also 'curi tulang' di.but it's really not an easy task u know.whether it's learning or working.there's like so much to learn and u cannot make silly mistakes or else just prepare to get scolding.but it's not that bad actually.I get to meet other students here (my seniors) who are doing their practical training and get quite a lot of information about what they have been through in their course of studies,or izzit what I will be going through soon(at least a rough idea).lol..okok.whatever.Oh ya,was on the phone with Calvin yesterday and he mentioned about Richie's birthday today.so..

Holidays

Finally I am on holiday till the end of July!! Although it's not long but still...felt so happy I have finally completed all my assignments and I am done with the first semester for year 1. After all the sleepless nights (or maybe a few hours of sleep) and the amount of hours spent just to complete assignments (architecture assignments especially),I can at least lay back and rest now,and of course go SHOPPING.lol.hang out with friends and watch movies too.yeah,and that's just exactly what I did.

Right after I submitted my design portfolio, went to hang out at Mid Valley with my college mates.yeah,I know MV again.but who cares,as long as we get to hang out.actually it's more of to my convenience.hehe

Reached Mid Valley and was supposed to meet up with my friends but they were not there yet,so I went shopping alone.MNG was on sale and packed with people purchasing clothes like nobody's business.Had to queue for so long just to use the fitting room!.Met up with my friends later and had lunch at Kim Gary.

After lunch, we watched 'Get Smart'. It's a real funny and interesting movie I would say and u can really laugh the whole way through.Anne Hathaway is really hot. That day itself,I came to find out that there are still very good and honest people around.I went home in the evening and the moment I stepped into my house, my dad told me that he lost his I phone and that he dropped it somewhere he can't recall.Deep inside I was thinking, the phone would have definitely been stolen or taken by someone. A few minutes later,my mom received a call from someone telling her that he found an I phone and asked for the owner of the phone. It was really unexpected and a very fortunate thing to happen.In case u all wonder how he knows how to call my mom,my mom miss called the phone many times.My parents went and meet the guy and he returned the phone.He is so honest that he didn't even accept the little reward my parents wanted to give him as a token of appreciation. Just imagine how lucky it is to meet someone like this guy.We sincerely thanked him for his honesty. And guess what?...my parents went to collect the new Harrier they bought in the afternoon and yeah,now that it's here at home,I can use it anytime..hehe
